Kitty was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was selfless and giving, always putting the needs of others before her own, even during her last few days with us.

Kitty was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2021. During her three year battle with this deadly disease, which involved a major surgery (Whipple procedure), chemotherapy, radiotherapy and more chemotherapy again, she never complained and always looked for the positive in every situation. Unfortunately she was taken away from us too soon, passing away at the age of 65, a week before her birthday. Kitty's endurance of this cruel disease was one of absolute courage, bravery, tenacity, fortitude, strength and real toughness. 

We honour Kitty's life and the impact she has had in our lives - whether as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, neighbour, teacher... and we will always treasure the memories we have of her. 

Together, we will inspire HOPE.

To help other families have the opportunity to spend more time with their loved ones who have been affected by pancreatic cancer, so that they can create more memories, I am raising funds for this critically underfunded and overlooked disease. I proudly support Dare to Hope, a volunteer-led charity committed to changing outcomes for those impacted by pancreatic cancer by funding vital medical research.
