Together, we will inspire HOPE.

I am honoring my beautiful sister Kathy Menzia, who died from Pacreatic Cancer in November 2018.

Kathy was so much more than the swift 11 weeks from diagnosis to passing.  She was so much more than the chemotherapy, pain, and medication.  She was an intelligent, thoughtful, private, humble, giving first born daughter, supportive sister and loving wife. She was, like so many, the family member we lost to a disease that is indiscriminate and unforgiving.

At the time that Kathy died, a Pancreatic Cancer 5-year survival rate was at 9-10%. Today, it’s around 13%.

Kathy, and others deserve better than this statistic and this is why I now devote my time and energy to raising funds that go directly to research.  Research will bring change.  I feel we ALL must act because you never know when you may be blindsided by such a diagnosis as we were.

Raising fund for this critically underfunded and overlooked disease is now imperative.  Please give whatever you can or pass on to others or on your socials.

I proudly support Dare to Hope, a volunteer-led charity committed to changing outcomes for those impacted by pancreatic cancer by funding vital medical research.

Medical research is the key to achieving breakthroughs in treatment and improving survival rates. Your support can help bring HOPE to those facing this devastating disease.

Please donate today to honor KATHY and make a difference.

The more people who learn about their story and the work of Dare to Hope, the greater the impact. Please share this page with family, friends, and colleagues to spread HOPE to more Australians.
